Fry Bread and Chocolate Covered Strawberries

This is an awesome recipe for Fry Bread. It's very frugal and tastes wonderful. It's also very filling. I made 8 or 9 soft taco sized discs and between three of us only ate five and we were stuffed.

It's especially good with guacamole purchased on markdown & coupon for .99 and sour cream on markdown for .79. Cheese was 1.00 on sale with a coupon. How much better can it get?

And for an extra special dessert? Chocolate covered strawberries. Take 1 cup of chocolate chips and 1 tbsp of shortening. Melt in the microwaver. Dip strawberries in melted chocolate and place on waxed paper lined cookie sheet. Fridge until dessert time. Super easy and super yummy. And a sneaky way to get some fruit into kids, hehe.
